Course Description

Organizations spend millions of dollars settling sexual harassment lawsuits, and as a manager you can be liable if you don’t stop an instance of sexual harassment between coworkers. This training helps managers recognize sexual harassment and respond to harassment. The training requirements for sexual harassment under California law are also explained. This training explains the legal definition of sexual harassment, how to proactively respond, the importance of documenting each situation, and understanding why there is a fear of retaliation. It is important for the manager to take the lead, as someone in charge, to diffuse these situations. Use this course to learn tips for responding to sexual harassment according to the law, in order to protect the victim, yourself as the manager, and your organization.
