Course Description

This course examines the importance of using a respirator to aid in the filtration of dangerous chemicals and particles on the job. Air-purifying respirators are a type of personal protection equipment (PPE). This course explores the kinds of respiratory hazards one could encounter, health screenings, the various types of respirators available, and cartridges and filters. The second half of the course talks about inspecting, maintaining, and using your respirator. Use this course among your employees to foster a greater awareness of air-purifying respirators and the safety procedures to follow to maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
