Course Description

This training focuses on the protective gear needed for workers who could get injured on the job. Workers need personal protective equipment specific to the hazards and the job being done. This video explains all the equipment needed for protection in the workplace, including PPE for heads, eyes, lungs, hands, feet and leg protection. Employers are required by OSHA to train employees on the specific gear required for their jobs and the hazardous conditions that exist. The training starts with an introduction that goes over all the safety equipment an employee might need. The course demonstrates the need for each type of PPE, as well as how to select and wear each type of PPE.
