Course Description

Employees working in an industrial setting learn about Safety Data Sheets, container labels, and the Hazard Communication Program in this course. A Safety Data Sheet (SDS) is a guide for working with certain chemicals. These data sheets use the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) to diagram and label chemicals so safety procedures are understood on a global level. The Hazard Communication Program is also discussed, including the details in which it affects the work environment. This training program also gives detailed information about chemicals such as toxins, corrosives, and irritants. This video encourages each individual to practice safety in industrial facilities by detailing preventative tips. This training is followed by a short quiz so the viewer is able to demonstrate their understanding.
