Course Description
Working above ground presents a wealth of risks and hazards for the employees at heights and the employees below on the ground. The risk of falls increases and standard safety procedures must be placed at the top of workers’ priority lists. If employees follow the proper work practices and apply the basics taught in this training, work sites will be safer for everyone. This course reviews items that might be in your facility’s Fall Protection Plan, including safety nets, guard rail systems and personal fall arrest systems. Learners are shown the different types of personal fall arrest systems and the importance of equipment inspection and replacement. With this training course, your workers learn how to increase safety when working above ground by following safe work practices and using the right personal protective equipment for their job.
