Course Description

The second program in a two-part series on electrocution safety, this training video covers information on hazards in construction environments. Situations such as working with power lines are shown through live-action videos that discuss the safety requirements for working in dangerous construction environments. Direct contact through a power source, electrical fires, electrical explosions, and arc flashes are the types of hazards shown in this video. Personal safety and responsibility is discussed. Burns resulting from arc flashes, thermal burns, and electrical issues are looked at and prevention measures are shown. Employee training is highlighted, and the Lock-out/Tag-out method of storing equipment is showcased.
