eLearning CourseYou read the title correctly. This post is dedicated to pet peeves, worst practices, and other abominations that terrorize an eLearning course. What follows is a combination of things that give Digitec-ies nightmares and headaches. I considered listing them here, but there were quite a few and a list alone did not express the sheer torment these things can cause.

Instead, I built a monster course that showcases a number of these violations in all of their infamy.

Enjoy, if you can. Or more likely, don’t.

P.S. All is not lost! You can help keep bad eLearning away from your association. Start with clear learning objectives, manage the content density, and be mindful of the visual design. There’s a lot more to it than that, but it’s a good “starter kit.”
